How to donate to the  Hamilton Gault Memorial Fund

The HGMF was established in 1964 with the initial purpose of providing educational bursaries for serving members so they could improve their education.  Since then our charitable activities have evolved.  We currently

  • Assist isolated veterans by providing communication equipment
  • Provide educational bursaries which have been expanded to include both serving and retired or released Patricias and their descendants
  • Support 11 PPCLI Cadet Corps in Western Canada
  • Assist with home modifications not covered by VAC
  • Fund Mental Health and Suicide Awareness training
  • Maintain major Regimental Memorials such as Frezenberg, Patricia Park and Lansdowne Memorial
  • Support the Regiment’s History and Heritage. Such as helping to purchase Lady Patricia’s medals, Spousal Oral History, Sydney Frost Battlefield Memorials in Sicily and Italy, helping to restore a stained glass window in St Bartholomew’s Church in Ottawa that was donated by Princess Patricia’s father the Duke of Connaught in 1919 to commemorate LCol Farqhaur and others
  • Support like minded agencies who help Veterans and their families such as PTSD Service Dogs

You can donate via the Canada Help Website who charge us 4% as a service charge and however they will automatically issue a tax receipt to you. https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/92588
